Where we put it. We dump where your instructions say. If the spot is not reachable,
not safe, or not clearly marked when the driver arrives, he puts the load in the nearest safe
spot and photographs it. Moving material after it is dumped is a separate charge.
Getting to the spot. A full truck is heavy. Driveways, sod, sprinkler heads, septic
and anything buried along the route you picked are your call, not ours. If the driver judges
the route unsafe he stops and calls you rather than risks it.
Nobody has to be home. We deliver to your written drop spot and photograph it. The
photo is the record of delivery.
If we cannot deliver. If the truck arrives and cannot get in or is turned away, we
call you first and try to solve it. If it cannot be solved, we refund $100 for the material
not used. The remainder covers the truck time, which cannot be refunded. If we have to cancel
on you and never make the trip, you get a full refund.
Cancelling. Call or text 850-238-3307. Before the truck loads, full refund. After it
is loaded and rolling, $100 back for the material and the remainder covers the trip.
What the material is. Fill dirt is fill dirt. It is not screened topsoil and it is
not certified to a spec unless we agreed to that in writing. Need a compaction result or a
spec? Call before ordering.
Quantity. A load is one truck, about 18 cubic yards loose. Material settles and
compacts after spreading, so the pile in the ground always measures less than the truck
volume. That is normal and is not a shortage.
What this is not. This is a delivery. Spreading, grading, compacting and haul off
are separate services. Call us and we will price them.
